Anchored by The Shops at Columbus Circle, Lincoln Square has enjoyed a vibrant retail environment. During this COVID-19 epidemic, many businesses and retail stores have acted responsibly and closed for public health. See the list below for more information about store closings and statements from businesses as well as what’s open.  


OPEN

A number of businesses in Lincoln Square are open, but with reduced or adjusted hours. Check with each store for the most up-to-date hours of operation. 

 

Best Buy has released the following statement:

Whole Foods Market will remain open with a change in operating hours. Please refer to wholefoodsmarket.com for hours. The store will service customers who are 60 and older one hour before opening to the general public, under the new adjusted hours posted on the store’s web page.

Chase Bank (160 Columbus Ave location is closed)

First Republic Bank

Mandarin Oriental, New York released the following statement on March, 26, 2020: “As of March 26, in keeping with government and health guidelines to contain the spread of COVID-19, Mandarin Oriental, New York has taken the difficult decision to temporarily close, with an expected reopening on June 1st 2020. We will waive our fees for cancellation of any individual advance purchase or guaranteed booking during this period.”

The Empire Hotel is not taking reservations now through the month of April. Rooms can be booked for May 1, 2020 and beyond. 

Fidelity (virtual services are available)

The Shops at Columbus Circle has temporarily closed all shops and restaurants effective Tuesday, March 17 at 5:00pm. Whole Foods Market will remain open (see above).
