Make a Lifesaving Blood Donation in Lincoln Square

Did you know that every blood donation can save three lives? Donating blood is safe and easy, too, and there are two opportunities to donate blood in Lincoln Square this week alone!

On Thursday, September 18, the John Jay Blood Drive in honor of those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks will take place at 524 W 59th Street (West End Ave) from 12:30pm through 6:30pm. You must reserve an appointment slot. Before or after you donate, stop by Mount Sinai West’s Emergency Department Community Wellness Fair from 10:00am through 3:00pm, located just a block away at 1000 10th Avenue (between 58th and 59th Street). During the event, there will be health screenings, healthy eating demos, a food drive, a back-to-school supply drive, music, a DJ, and yoga.

Don’t miss Lincoln Center’s 15th Annual Community Blood Drive with New York Blood Center on Monday, September 23, from 1:00pm through 7:00pm. There will be live music from The Juilliard School during the drive at the David Rubenstein Atrium (1887 Broadway at 62nd Street). Pre-registration is required.

Your donation can help your fellow New Yorkers being treated for a wide range of chronic, acute, and emergency medical conditions. This is your chance to make a difference. Sign up to donate if you can!
