From Monday, November 24, to Friday, December 5, the scope of work includes demolition of the existing buildings located at 147 Columbus Avenue, 149 Columbus Avenue, 77 West 66th Street, and 47 West 66th Street. Hauling and trucking will take place, as needed, to facilitate the removal of building elements on West 66th and 67th Street. Pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular routes will remain open around the construction site, per approvals from the NYC Department of Transportation. Flagmen will be deployed to construction trucking entry and exit locations.
The work hours will be 7:00am to 6:00pm, from Monday to Friday. Work will not take place during weekends within this timeframe. The site will also be closed on Thursday, November 27, for Thanksgiving Day.
