Celebrate Broadway at The Shops

The Shops at Columbus Circle has begun their popular Broadway Under the Stars holiday performances! After the series took a break last year due to the pandemic, they have returned with free live performances from Tony-award winning Broadway favorites and new shows until Thursday, December 16. The series is open to the public, takes place every Thursday at 5:00pm on Level 2 at The Shops and celebrates the return of Broadway and the resiliency of theatre and arts in New York City.

The tentative schedule of performances and dates is as follows:

  • Thursday, November 11: The Phantom of the Opera
  • Thursday, November 18: Aladdin and The Lion King
  • Thursday, December 2: Diana, Dear Evan Hansen, Girl from the North Country and TINA – The Tina Turner Musical
  • Thursday, December 9: Jagged Little Pill
  • Thursday, December 16: Mrs. Doubtfire, Moulin Rouge! and Come From Away

The Shops’ Holiday Under the Stars display is the largest specialty-crafted exhibit of illuminated color mixing in the world, featuring twelve 14-foot stars that hang from the ceiling of the 150-foot Great Room. The Shops will be holding daily performances at 4:00pm and 7:00pm. Holiday Under the Stars will be on display through Monday, January 3, so stop in to do some holiday shopping and see the stars!
