This year’s NYC Marathon will be held on Sunday, November 3, with the course spanning from Staten Island up through Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and back down to Manhattan, finishing near Tavern on the Green in Lincoln Square. Expect significant traffic, parking restrictions, and street closures across New York City on both Saturday, November 2, and race day, Sunday, November 3. Plan ahead for delays and alternate routes.
In Lincoln Square, there will be no parking on the following streets from Saturday, November 2, starting at 12:01am to Sunday, November 3, ending at 8:00pm:
- Central Park West from 60th Street to 66th Street
- West 61st to West 69th Street from Central Park West to Broadway
The following streets will be closed on Sunday, November 3:
- Central Park West from Columbus Circle to 77th Street from 12:00am to 8:00pm
- Columbus Avenue from 59th Street to 77th Street from 6:00am to 8:00pm
- Broadway from 59th Street to 77th Street from 6:00am to 8:00pm
- West 61st through West 66th Streets from Central Park West to Broadway
- West 67th through West 77th Streets from Central Park West to Columbus Avenue
